Adam and Eve Leaving Eden

Description
Adam and Eve walk barefoot through a narrow rocky passage, clothed in simple garments after their fall from innocence. Behind them, the garden landscape rises with a distant waterfall and flowering growth, while the foreground narrows into a harsher path outside Eden. Their lowered posture and covered bodies reflect the weight of sin, shame, and exile after disobedience in Genesis. The scene portrays the moment when the Lord sends the first man and woman from the garden, both as judgment and mercy: judgment because access to the tree of life is barred, and mercy because God provides garments before they enter a broken world. This artwork is well suited for teaching on the Fall, original sin, divine holiness, human responsibility, and the beginning of God’s redemptive story.
