Description
The sower strides across a rugged field with a seed bag gathered in one hand and grain scattering from the other. Birds sweep low over the path while stony ground, thorny growth, and more fertile soil appear around him, visually echoing the varied soils in Jesus’ Parable of the Sower. His windblown cloak and forward motion give the scene the urgency of kingdom proclamation: the seed is cast generously, but the condition of the ground determines its fruitfulness.
In the Gospels, Jesus explains that the seed represents the word of God and the soils represent human hearts. Some hear and lose the word at once, some receive it without root, some are choked by worldly cares, and some hold it fast and bear a harvest. This artwork is well suited for sermon graphics, Bible study materials, discipleship lessons, Sunday school curriculum, and teaching on evangelism, spiritual receptivity, and fruitful faith.
