18 For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Luke 4
1 예수께서는 요단강에서 성령을 가득히 받고 돌아오신뒤 성령의 인도로 광야에 가셔서2 40일동act안 악마에게 유혹을 받으셨다. 그동안 아무것도 잡수시지 않아서 40일이 지났을 때에는 몹시 시장하셨다.3 그때에 악마가 예수께 ≪당신이 하나님의 아들이거든 이 돌더러 빵이 되라고 하여보시오.≫라고 하였다.4 예수께서는 ≪＜사람이 빵으로만 살것이 아니라＞고 성서에 기록되여 있다.≫고 대답하셨다.5 그러자 악마는 예수를 높은곳으로 데리고가서 잠간사이에 세상의 모든 왕국을 보여주며6 다시 말하였다. ≪저 모든 권세와 영광을 당신에게 주겠소. 저것은 내가 받은 것이니 누구에게나 내가 주고 싶은 사람에게 줄수 있소.7 만일 당신이 나의 앞에 엎드려 절만 하면 모두가 당신의 것이 될것이요.≫8 예수께서 악마에게 ≪＜주님이신 너의 하나님을 례배하고 그분만을 섬기라＞고 성서에 기록되여 있다.≫고 대답하셨다.9 악마는 다시 예수를 예루살렘으로 데리고가서 성전꼭대기에 세우고 ≪당신이 하나님의 아들이거든 여기에서 뛰여내려보시오.10 성서에 ＜하나님이 당신의 천사들을 시켜 너를 지켜주시리라.＞ 하였고11 또 ＜너의 발이 돌에 부딪치지 않게 손으로 너를 받들게 하시리라.＞ 고 기록되여 있지 않소.≫라고 말하였다.12 예수께서 ≪＜주님이신 너희 하나님을 떠보지 말라.＞는 말씀이 성서에 있다.≫고 대답하셨다.13 악마는 이렇게 여러가지로 유혹해본 끝에 다음 기회를 노리면서 예수에게서 떠나갔다.
Matthew 4
1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.2 And after fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.3 And the tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.”4 But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and set him on the pinnacle of the temple6 and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, “‘He will command his angels concerning you,’ and “‘On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.’”7 Jesus said to him, “Again it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’”8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.9 And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.”10 Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’”11 Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and were ministering to him.
