22 어느날 예수께서 제자들과 함께 배를 타게 되였다. 예수께서 ≪호수 저편으로 건너가자.≫고 말씀하시자 제자들은 배를 젓기 시작하였다.23 일행이 호수를 건너가고 있을 때 예수께서 잠이 드시였다. 그때 마침 뭍으로부터 호수로 사나운 바람이 내려불어 배에 물이 차기 시작하여 사람들이 위태롭게 되였다.24 제자들이 예수께로 가서 흔들어깨우며 ≪선생님, 선생님, 우리가 죽게 되였습니다.≫라고 소리쳤다. 예수께서 일어나 바람과 사나운 물결을 꾸짖으시자 바람과 물결이 잔잔해지고 바다가 고요해졌다.25 예수께서는 제자들에게 ≪너희의 믿음은 다 어떻게 되였느냐.≫고 하시며 책망하시였다. 그들은 두렵기도 하고 놀랍기도 하여 ≪도대체 이분이 누구신데 바람과 물결까지도 그 명령에 복종하는가.≫고 서로 수군거렸다.
Mark 4
37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was already filling.38 But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?”39 And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.40 He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?”41 And they were filled with great fear and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
Matthew 8
24 그때 마침 바다에 거센 풍랑이 일어나 배가 물결에 뒤덮이게 되였는데 예수께서는 주무시고계시였다.25 제자들이 곁에 가서 예수를 깨우며 ≪주님, 살려주십시오. 우리가 죽게 되였습니다.≫라고 부르짖었다.26 예수께서 그들에게 ≪왜 그렇게 겁이 많으냐, 믿음이 적은 사람들아≫라고 하시며 일어나서 바람과 바다를 꾸짖으시자 바람이 그치고 바다가 잔잔해졌다.
